A blog about whatever randomosity my fevered mind conceives.

I felt compelled to share…

I didn’t have any intention of sharing videos through WordPress, but… this really touched me and – as the title says – I felt compelled to share.

Hopefully I did this right.

    • Aye, for some reason I just couldn’t force it to do my bidding. Silly thing!

  2. KONY 2012! 😀

    • You’ve seen it? I totally screwed up on the link, but whatever, it’s still useable. :$ It made me cry.

      March 9, 2012 at 11:44 am

      • Awww. I cried a little as well. But then I was doing some research, and apparently it’s a huge controversial issue.

        March 9, 2012 at 12:05 pm

      • Ya, because some people believe they’re stirring up an old issue. But my opinion is that it’s not actually an ‘old’ issue until it’s a solved issue… and since the problem persists, I don’t see how anyone can make a fuss about calling people’s attentions to the situation.

      • Oh no no. It was something about funding and the way that the funds are being used. They had the whole accounts sheet scrutinized.

I’m all for the cause. I have absolutely NOTHING against Kony being caught. That son offa bitch deserves to be wiped off the face of the Earth.

        I’m just concerned about HOW.

        March 9, 2012 at 12:15 pm

      • Ahh, interesting point to raise… I’m going to have to look into that a little more. I haven’t seen anything yet complaining about the funding… that would so piss me off!
People like Kony make me hope there is a hell! It just seems too unjust to think that they wouldn’t have to face an eternity of judgment for their crimes.

        March 9, 2012 at 12:18 pm

      • Hold on.. I’ll go find the place where I read it..

People like Kony.. God.. I just don’t understand how these people come in existence.. How much hate can you have in your heart to do such things? AND OH GOD. What would his mother think? 0_0

        March 9, 2012 at 12:36 pm

      • Oi, no kidding! I get really touchy about anything negative to do with kids, but something that huge just… grrrr… honestly, I don’t even have an adequate word to state how pissed it makes me. I always have words!!!

        March 9, 2012 at 12:38 pm

      • I’m not kidding though! I mean, he had to have been a kid at SOME POINT, right? Where the hell did things go wrong that he turned out like this?

I mean. I’m not a mom, so I really can’t even start on this. But IF I was his mom, I dunno.. I’d have a pretty serious break down.

        March 9, 2012 at 12:46 pm

      • I know right? God, that’s tough to even imagine. I’ve always struggled to understand exactly where human evil comes from – we all start out so sweet and innocent after all. I don’t think its something that we’ll ever understand though. For his mom’s sake, I hope she never lived long enough to see what she accidently created.

      • Some asshole made a horrid joke about equalizing the population. Apparently all the natural disasters and evil people, like Kony, are brought into the world so that the balance between birth and death can be restored. :S

I swear. I hope his mom is long gone. I wouldn’t be able to live through it.

Btw.. Here’s the link I was talking about, http://sammhayden.tumblr.com/post/18893649585/instead-of-mindlessly-promoting-read-this-and-educate

      • Thank so much!!!!
And while I agree that the balance is way out of whack (as the asshole seems to have pointed out), I believe that all life should be honoured, appreciated and respected. I don’t get how some people suppose that they deserve to live and others don’t.
It makes me a little sick to know that over here in my corner of the world, we live a great existence of over-abundance and waste while in other places children starve to death in the streets. Sometimes I feel like we’re on the eve of some great global shift… hopefully something that will change the fates of us all for the better, but it takes a lot more people waking up and becoming active. That might be the number one thing that I love about the internet; that last couple of years have seen people pull together and accomplish things that no one would have guessed possible a decade ago, using the net to help form their movements.

      • I completely agree. Nobody should play god.

Hopefully the world’s power will be equalized one day. *fingers crossed*
