The ‘I’ In Ruin
I am destruction…
Without compassion
I stumble through this world.
I wreak havoc on all those I touch,
Smashing emotions at my feet.
I am the dark laughter within,
And the haze of terror without.
Like a raging hurricane,
I lay waste to all that lies before me.
I am anger;
Harsh,
Bitter,
Thundering
Rage.
I drive a mind to madness in my unease.
I crumble empires
And inspire rivers of blood.
I am the voice that screams out in the night;
The echo in the graveyard.
Like a nightmare monster,
I am pure adrenaline.
I am pain;
Heartbreaking sorrow;
Incurable agony.
I am the selfishness in suffering.
Like a wound that never heals;
I am eternal.
I am the boogeyman
Haunting the darkest corners
Of every mind.
I am what makes men jump at their own shadows
And cower in their impotence.
I am all these things
And more…
I am your insecurities.

Aye, it’s a great pic… wish I knew where I collected all the pictures on my harddrive, but most of them I’ve had so long already that I have no idea where they came from in the first place.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks. 🙂

Love it. I read to myself in a deep, menacing voice and I think I managed to scared myself a little. Lol.
I love how you can do so many different perspectives! It really is an amazing skill.

lol I read this on my phone a couple of minutes ago while I was outside (watching crows LOL) and I laughed so flippin hard that the old ladies watching my house (cop car – we must be doing SOMETHING wrong!!) got nervous and walked out of my view.
I don’t know if it’s an amazing skill or not… honestly, it mostly just makes me feel like a true nut lol.

There were old ladies watching your house? What the hell? You live in such a weird neighborhood.
I’m super glad that I could make you laugh though. 😀
See? Even that’s all about perspective. It’s up to you whether you wanna call it pure genius or not.

Interesting approach using an I to describe a word. Nice Job! 🙂
